ChemSKOS is a free chemical structure database providing text and structure search. You will find here information about atoms, molecules, ions, ion paisr, radicals, radical ions, complexes, conformers, etc. ChemSKOS uses SKOS for representation of chemical data.

What is SKOS used for?

SKOS describes synonyms and associative relationships, and to add information to concepts. It provides a standard way to represent (chemical) data using Linked Data.

What is Linked Data used for?

Linked Data allows to large scale integration of, and reasoning on, (chemical) data on the Web. Our data is 5-Star Linked Open Data. It means that our data is meets Linked Data assumptions and is released under an open licence, which does not impede its reuse for free.
